01 Guest Info

What to expect.

A quick orientation before your day on the water.

Departure Marinas

Boats depart from the Cabo San Lucas Marina and Puerto Los Cabos in San José del Cabo. Your booking confirmation includes the exact slip and check-in time — most trips leave at first light.

Bareboat vs. All-Inclusive

Bareboat charters include fuel, crew, tackle, rods, ice, water, bait, and fish cleaning. All-inclusive charters add meals (breakfast & lunch), snacks, soft drinks, beer, tequila, and Mexican fishing licenses.

What To Bring

Sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, a hat, light layers, and a camera. On bareboat trips, bring your Mexican fishing license (you can purchase one online at mexpermits.com) and any food and drink you’d like aboard.

02 FAQ

Common questions.

Not seeing yours? Message the concierge — we answer fast.

Do I need a Mexican fishing license?
Yes — all passengers are required to have a valid Mexican fishing license. On all-inclusive packages, licenses are included. On bareboat charters, purchase your own before the trip at www.mexpermits.com or at a local tackle shop.
What's included in a bareboat charter?
Fuel, crew, tackle, rods, ice, water, bait, and fish cleaning. Food, drinks, and fishing licenses are on you.
What's included in an all-inclusive charter?
All-inclusive charters typically add meals (breakfast & lunch), snacks, soft drinks, beer, tequila, and Mexican fishing licenses. Some boat packages vary — please confirm everything in your booking.
What species can we target?
Los Cabos fishes year-round. Marlin, yellowfin tuna, dorado (mahi mahi), and wahoo headline the offshore grounds, with roosterfish, jack crevalle, snapper, grouper, and amberjack closer to shore. Your captain builds the game plan around the season and the current bite.
How far in advance should I book?
Peak season dates and tournament weeks fill early — especially on flagship boats like Oro Negro. Contact us with your dates as soon as you know them and we'll confirm availability across the fleet.
What's the deposit and cancellation policy?
Deposit and cancellation terms are confirmed at booking and vary by vessel. Contact us for details on your specific charter.
Can you handle large groups or corporate trips?
Yes. Wild in Sac takes up to 15 guests, and for larger events we can run multiple boats out of the same marina on the same morning. Multi-day mothership expeditions aboard Northern Dream are also available.
Can we keep our catch?
Yes — fish cleaning is included on every charter, and fish processing is available on select boats. Your crew will clean and bag your catch, and can point you to local restaurants that will cook it the same night.
